A childhood favorite gets a saucy, grown-up twist that’s equal parts cozy and craveable.
Ingredients
- 1 (12oz) package chicken & apple sausage, sliced
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 onion, halved and sliced
- 1 (28oz) can Saucy Spoon Korean Style BBQ Baked Beans
- 4 ounces (1 cup) shredded smoked gouda cheese
Directions
In a large skillet, place sausage and 1 cup water. Cook for 5 minutes over high heat. Drain all liquid. Add oil, red pepper, and onion and cook 3 to 4 minutes over medium high heat until vegetables are starting to get tender and sausage is browned in places.
Add baked beans and cook 2 to 3 minutes or until hot. Sprinkle with cheese and cook 1 minute or until cheese is melty.
