Our take on a summer favorite! Best served up with a sizzling side of our Applewood Smoked Bacon Baked Beans.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ pounds 85% ground beef
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 teaspoons steak seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 large sweet onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons steak sauce
  • 4 slices white cheddar cheese
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 1 large tomato, sliced
  • 4 slices dill pickle
  • 1 (28oz) can Saucy Spoon Applewood Smoked Bacon Baked Beans

Directions

Preheat grill to medium-high heat (350° to 450°F). In a large bowl combine ground beef, Worcestershire sauce and steak seasoning. Form into four patties, leaving an indentation in the center. Grill burgers 11 to 14 minutes, turning once, until cooked through (at least 140°F).

Meanwhile in a large skillet heat butter until melted. Add onions and cook over medium heat for 10 minutes or until tender and lightly browned. Add steak sauce and cook 1 minute. Remove from heat. In a saucepan or microwave-safe container heat beans covered for 2 to 3 minutes or until hot.

When burgers are nearly done, top with cheese. Grill buns, 1 to 2 minutes or until lightly toasted. Place burgers on bottom half of buns. Top with tomatoes, pickle and onions. Serve with baked beans.
